Electric Hoverboards | Best Hoverboards and How They Work

As a kid, we all wanted to be superheros. One of the coolest superpowers we would pretend to have would be to fly. Better yet, to be able to hover above everyone else. With technology advancements, our inner child is allowed to live out childhood fantasies in real life. All thanks to the introduction of the electric hoverboard.

What exactly is an electric hoverboard one may ask? Or to be exact, how exactly does a hoverboard work? Contrary to its’ name, the hoverboard doesn't actually allow you to ‘hover’ a few inches off the ground.

The electric hoverboard allows the rider to hover as part of a balancing act. The hoverboard sensors detect the weight and direction of the rider. The sensors then transfer power to the wheels. This process is fully automated. The wheels will adjust in rotational direction and speed based on the weight of the rider.

Now that we have a clear idea of how a hoverboard functions, the next issue is deciding which hoverboard is the best choice to live out our childhood fantasies.
